Following Peter Jackson’s The Beatles: Get Back, another documentary about the influential band has landed on Disney+.
Directed by David Tedeschi and produced by Martin Scorsese, Beatles ’64 charts the band’s impact on the United States following their first visit to the country in February 1964, when they filmed their first performances on The Ed Sullivan Show.
The documentary explores the dynamics between band members Paul McCartney, George Harrison, John Lennon and Ringo Starr during the period, and includes archival footage from the wider Beatlemania era.
