Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr teamed up with Ronnie Wood to perform a rendition of icon Beatles song ‘Get Back’.
The song, recorded and released in 1969 to be included as the closing track of Let It Be, was written by McCartney but credited to Lennon-McCartney. Having become synonymous with the rooftop show on the roof of Apple Studios, McCartney and Starr returned to the capital to perform the song.
McCartney, having sold out London’s O2 Arena, welcomed his former bandmate back on stage as a surprise inclusion. On top of that, Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood rocked up to help out.
